The Secret to Effortless Hair - Master Class
This 1 day hands-on intensive course will guarantee to equip you with the tools & techniques to create our signature textured updo and also amazing “modern, chic & effortless” hairstyles. You will feel more confident when a client gives you those highly popular Pinterest hair images. Our tips and tricks will be unveiled. You will learn to recreate some of the most on trend & popular hairstyles. See the secrets behind creating undone hair that looks so effortless yet holds all day.
- 15-20 mins phone consultation with the instructor prior to class (help us get to know you and learn about your goal)
- 4 Hairstyle demonstrations
- Freely use of camera for photos during class (no videos please)
- Learn techniques to prep hair, control frizz, create beautiful texture
- Discover must-have products
- 3 hr to practice 2 - 3 looks on your models & take pictures of your work
- One on one time with feedback
- Lunch & refreshment is provided for all students
- Curls and Hollywood waves
- Half up half down + Volume side-swept hair
- Simple and chic updo (hair that deemed simple is even harder to do!)
- Big volume loose updo (Advanced)
Students are required to bring their own model (medium to long hair) to practice on. The model should arrive at 10:50 am for an 11 am start. (Mannequin is good too but you will learn more on real hair, find a model that can best show your work ). Models can leave at 3 pm.
All hair tools include but not limited to:
- A pen to take note
- Brushes, Bobbi pins, Hair clips
- Hot tools: Curling iron (1 inch/25mm), Hair crimper (if you have)
- Hair spray (one flexible + one hard hold)
- Prepare some questions you want to ask
9 am Meet & Greet/ Theory
9:30 am - 11:00 am Hair demo (2 looks)
11:00 am - 2:00 pm Hands-on practice for 3 hrs
